Connecting Unity to Visual Studio

Have you installed Unity and Visual studio but you still lack the IntelliSense that you see in online tutorials?

The good news is there is a simple solution to the problem.

With the Unity editor open click on the edit tab in the top left corner and click preferences:

Once you have the preferences window open you will then need to find the external tools tab, the top option should allow you to choose your external script editor:
